You wouldn't throw money in the trash, why throw away good parts? Expensive ones at that! Fuel Injectors are a maintenance item! While injectors commonly become restricted, and sometimes leak, it's a thorough cleaning and backflush to remove the contaminants that should be your starting point. For a fraction of the cost of quality OEM replacement injectors, have your operating set diagnosed, cleaned and rebuilt. Then, reinstall them and continue to add mileage, and hours, to what you already own!
Injectors are hardy... they are designed for high-heat atmosphere, and have strong internal coils. High mileage on your original injector set is expected! Most common injector related faults are due to low fuel quality and/or poor fuel system maintenance. Neither fuel-system-additives, nor on-vehicle fuel-system-treatments, can properly backflush and internally clean fuel injectors. Injectors also tend to stick after sitting untreated, and unused, for an extended period of time. Our services overcome these faults, most of the time, and returns the injectors to optimal performance. In the rare case of a non-repairable injector, the single failed unit can be isolated and replaced, thus saving the high cost of replacing an entire set.
Upon removal of an injector from the fuel rail or the intake, the mating surface seals should always be replaced! Sometimes, a specific grommet, spacer or pintle cap, is brittle, loose, cracked or worn out. Don't spend countless hours trying find those parts! And don't buy unnecessary gasket sets to get them. Odds are, we've got them. It's standard practice, and part of the process, to replace all those small parts during our in-house rebuild service. But, if you just need parts, we can assemble injector seal kits for most any application on site.
